Describe your assessment task, choose the year level, subject and state, and add the curriculum outcome codes you are assessing. My Curriculum Mate checks every code against Australian Curriculum v9.0, NSW, Victorian and WA curriculum data before it writes anything, then builds an analytic rubric with clear criteria and a description of the work at each level.
Each description says what a student actually does at that level, such as how many pieces of evidence they use or how they organise their ideas, rather than labels like "excellent" or "poor". That keeps marking consistent across a team and gives students feedback they can act on.
You can edit every criterion and description before exporting to Word or PDF, ready to attach to a task sheet or share with students.
The grade scale your state reports on
Each rubric starts with the scale used in your state. You can switch to a four-level scale or set your own level names.

A rubric describes the evidence in one piece of work. It supports your on-balance judgement for reporting, so the generator never turns a points total into a grade.

Breaks the task into separate criteria, each with its own performance levels. The most common format in Australian schools, and the best for targeted feedback on each part of a task.
Single-Point Rubric

Holistic Rubric
