How I see the world as a growing human

This unit focuses on helping Year 6 students develop emotional regulation skills while fostering an understanding of diversity in their communities. Throughout the four-week duration, students will explore various strategies to manage their emotions, recognise the influence of emotional responses on interactions, and appreciate the value of diversity. The unit will incorporate interactive activities, discussions, and role-playing scenarios to create a safe space for students to express themselves and learn from one another. By the end of the unit, students will be equipped with practical skills to navigate their emotional landscapes and communicate effectively with peers in various contexts.
